  51. This is a highly edited version of episode 1, level 1.  Just about everything
  52.  
  53. in the level has been altered in one way or another.  There are new rooms
  54.  
  55. added, lifts, added monsters, crushing ceilings, raising floors, you name it.
  56.

  58. While you may be tempted to load your cheats and just blast everything in sight
  59.  
  60. you will be missing a lot of fun.  The level is tough, but it is designed so
  61.  
  62. that it can be beaten without using any cheats.  Try it, you'll like it.

  65. All the weapons, including a BFG-9000 are in there somewhere.

  68. Well, on to finishing the sequel, surpriz2, a very large, totally made from

  70. scratch level that will be awesome.

  72. To play this level, copy or unzip it to your DOOM directory & enter:

  76. When DOOM starts begin a new game in episode one - This level defaults to
  77.  
  78. ultra-violent only!  If you want to try it as a NIGHTMARE level you can add
  79.  
  80. the -respawn parameter.
