- THE ATTACK OF THE DEADITES!

- The portal was in the process of closing when something unseen slipped
- through into the land. It was an insidious presence and soon exerted
- it's presence. Enslaving human and orc alike. Only one army escaped
- this pestilence, the yellow army of Elven Cove. This army of highly
- skilled archer and warriors had saved many of the heroes of the land.

- Gathering it's evil minions the deadites began to plague the land.
- Endowed with the ability to magically enhance fortifications and warriors
- this relentless blight began to scour the land. Only you stand in it's way.

- There ten scenarios in this package, dead1.pud through dead10.pud. It is my
- first attpemt at creating scenarios. I would appreciate any feedback.

- SCENARIOS

- DEAD1.PUD
- Five of the Deadite lans have surrounded your fortress. You must fight your
- way out of the Fortress. Eliminate all the Orcs in the surrounding area.
- Then you must relentlessly pursue them throughout the land until you have
- destroyed their source of power, the filed of RUNES and the Red Fortress of
- Kali.

- DEAD2.PUD
- After narrowly defeating the Deadites at your door step, you have set out
- in pursuit. Your spies in the Orc camps have heard that Lothar the White
- was captured and he is being transformed into a Deadite. You must rescue
- Lothar.

- DEAD3.PUD
- Having routed the Orcs you come upon a great inland lake. You must traverse
- this lake to contimue your journey. But beware of what inhabits the shores
- of this lake. In order to continue you must vanquish the black army of Gilneas.
- This garrison was overrun by the Deadites and it's surviving soldiers turned
- into Deadites. Do not bother to save these men as their very souls have been
- robbed from them. Their only release is death.

- DEAD4.PUD
- The Burning Blade Clan of Orcs has rebuilt an old river fortress. There they
- have captured Uther the Blue. You must rescue him if you are to suceed in the
- end. Having proven that he is no traitor, you award Lothar with your army's
- colors and put him in charge of this crutial rescue.

- Durnig the battle you come across an Orc Juggernaught being converted to Deadite
- use. The toll you incur while sinking this machine of destruction nearly
- sends you back to your fortress.

- DEAD5.PUD
- After defeating the Burning Blade you come across another Gilneas garrison.
- Only this garrison has been re-enforced by the Deadites.

- DEAD6.PUD
- Having both Lother and Uther, great companions, is very comforting. Winter has
- set in and still you must battle on.

- DEAD7.PUD
- It's spring and you have come to the great Plain Ver Itas. With the might
- mountains of Min Tju Lip on your left and the vast forest of Pap Ermill on
- your right you push on. Having given command of your archers to Uther and
- Lothar in command of your knghts and foot soldiers you move closer to
- Plain Rune.

- As you come to the end of the plain you enter the Isthmus of Nar Edowell.
- Here two garrisons guard the only method of crassong the great inland sea.
- You will have to cross this sea to gain access to Plain Rune.

- DEAD9.PUD
- After defeating the red garrison you spend a year building up you navy.
- Uther and Lothar were summoned to the mountains of Min Tju Lip by the great
- mystic and warrior Fils Du Chien. When they return their strength and skill
- are greatly enhanced. But first you must destroy the Kali's navy and
- successfully make landfall below Plain Ruin.

- Having sucessfully defeated the seaport you start on the final crusade against
- the forces of Kali.
