  7. Line 1 is the initialization string:

  9.         Hayes and compatible: ATW2&Q6&K3&D2&C1

  11.         USRs and compatible : AT&B1&K0&D2&C1&H0&I0

  13. Line 2 is the shutdown string, which should hang up the line (if dropping
  14. DTR hasn't already) and reset any parameters you like.

  16. Line 3 is the com port to use.

  18. Line 4 is the baud rate 
  19.  
  20. Line 5 is the phone number to dial.  This string gets passed straight to
  21. your modem allowing you to add commas, turn off call waiting, etc.
