  2. APCiDOOM v5.1 is a freeware utility for 
  3. DOOM or DOOM II.  It is the client
  4. software that allows high-speed modem
  5. users to play FOUR PLAYER true network
  6. modem DOOM via the APCi MultiPlayer Game
  7. Server.  It features a chat utility that
  8. enables players to chat and change WAD
  9. files/settings before and between games.
  10. Supported modes are modem, serial link,
  11. and IPX.  Proper operation requires DOOM
  12. or DOOM II v1.666 or later.  The MPGS is
  13. *NOT* required to use this program.
  14. APCiDOOM v5.1 was released on 10/29/94.
