First, don't be too discourage if windoom does not run. Remember, this is a beta version, I think. Initially, I had problem getting windoom to work. The general comments I get, I myself experience the same thing initial, are:

Therefore, you must have the 'right' hardware. What's the 'right' hardware? I don't know. I guess people have to find out for themselve. Enough of talk. The way to install windoom is the following:
(1) You need to get wing10.zip in ftp.microsoft.com:/Developr/drg/WinG
(2) For win32s, get the file pw1118.exe in ftp.microsoft.com:/softlib/mslfiles
(3) Unzip your wdoom.zip into your \doom directory and run windoom-.exe or windoom.exe
(4) I'm not sure because I don't have doom2. But I think windoom only work with doom1 (version 1.2 or 1.666). I used the register 1.666. I don't know if the shareware will work.
[5] Once you got everything setup all you need to do is run either windoom-.exe or windoom.exe (this is for debugging; you can track the fps)
(6) To get music and SFX you must run the setup program in \doom from dos. I'm assuming you know how this work. Also, you should have install the sound driver for windows.
That's it.
Trouble shooting:
If you can't get windoom to run try this:
a) when you install winG, the program will install wing32.dll into \window\system
b) however, windoom also came with wing32.dll (an older version). I left the old wing32.dll
in \doom directory. This work for me. I have heard that you should put the wing32.dll that
came with windoom in the \windows\system and therefore replacing the newer version
