Instructions for connecting the Nintendo Power Glove to an IBM
compatible PC via a parallel port.

Nes Controller Socket
(As found on Power Glove)
Connect Pin 1 of power glove (referred to as pg from here on) to
pin 18 of the parallel port and to ground (computer case will do).
Pin 2 on pg connects to any 5 volt power supply (to provide power
to the glove), such as pin 5 of your keyboard socket, or pin 1 on
most game card sockets. Pin 3 on the pg connects to pin 2 on the
parallel port. Pin 4 connects to nothing. Pin 5 on pg connects to
pin 3 on the parallel port. Pin 6 on pg connects to nothing. Pin
7 on pg connects to pin 13 on parallel port. It is probably best
to buy an RS-232 type connector and solder wires directly from the
NES socket on the pg to the back of the RS-232 connector. In this
fashion, you have a reliable connection. Good luck! To subscribe

Doomglov is a program intended to make it possible to use the
Nintendo power glove as a controller in Doom. This program was
written by Carlo Carenini & Antonio Tarquini. This text is
provided as a supplement to their documentation and is in no way
affiliated with them or ID software or Nintendo Corporation of
America.
To use doomglov, unzip into the doom directory and type doomglov.
You must remove all mouse drivers from your system for doomglov to
work. You must also run the doom setup program and enable
"keyboard & mouse." See doomglov.txt for more information.
