  4. Caraway Bold is a Type 1 Postscript Font that is distinctive, scalable, and a
  5. pleasure to read. I like to think of it as the handwriting I always wanted but
  6. could never come close to. An all-purpose font, Caraway Bold even looks good
  7. when italicized!  A companion font, Caraway Book, is also being designed.

  9. You are welcome to install Caraway Bold, just drag the files CarawBol and
  10. CarawayBold.AFM into your system folder, and use the Font/DA mover (or
  11. Suitcase II etc.) to install the file CarawayBold.bitmap into your system
  12. file. With Adobe Type Manager, it looks great on-screen or with non-Postscript
  13. output (to save downloading time for you, I've only included 24 point bitmap,
  14. but other sizes are available on order). Take a look at it, print some out,
  15. have fun.

  17. Caraway Bold is being distributed as SHAREWARE. This allows you to try it out
  18. before you decide whether it's worth keeping. If you keep it and use it, The
  19. Author (that's me) requests that you pay him $10 by check or money order in
  20. US funds. If you are using it for commercial purposes, please pay $25. When I
  21. receive and cash your check, you are granted a license to use Caraway Bold
  22. (the Author maintains the copyright). If you don't like it, or don't feel
  23. it's worth $10 to you, drag it into the trash, or let your friends &
  24. associates take a look instead.

  26. You are free to distribute & upload Caraway Bold, provided that you keep all
  27. of these files (especially with this one!) TOGETHER AND ABSOLUTELY UNALTERED.
  28. Please don't sell Caraway Bold or use it as an incentive to sell something
  29. else.

  31. If you feel too lazy/cheap/busy to send me a check, imagine how long it takes
  32. to make and refine a typeface, drawn completely de novo. Think how much you
  33. would have paid for a font like this retail. The more people respond favorably,
  34. the more incentive I'll have to make new and better typefaces, and support
  35. the ones I've made...the shareware concept makes computing better for all of

  46. licensing & registration, materials, postage & handling. All foreign language
  47. and special characters are included. Please specify that you want The "CARAWAY
  48. BOLD FULL CHARACTER SET" with your check, and since I'm a one-man operation,
  49. allow me some time to get it out to you (Start screaming at eight weeks).
  50. Bitmap Collections, Illustrator/Freehand EPS Art, and TrueType formats will be
  51. available (sometime soon) on request. Other fonts are available as well,
