  1. Two pieces from Beethoven's quartet Op.18 No.5

  3. 1) Minuet + Trio
  4.    file beq52.mid

  6. 2) Andante + Variations
  7.    files beq53a.mid to beq53f.mid - Theme, 5 variations and coda.

  9. Needless to say these transcriptions gave me days of serious headaches.
  10. I had to include lots of controllers and velocity changes; so, if you 
  11. have a modest computer, you better remove them if you find any trouble 
  12. during playback.

  14. Those are GENERAL MIDI files.
  15. I've included the patch names in the comment fields inside the midi files.
  16. Try using the same or similar patches.
  17.  
  18. The pieces are ready for playing through a SB16+WaveBlaster soundcard.
  19. You need to change some patches and controllers for the GUS.
  20. I have no idea how they would sound in other setups.
