  9. It's a small program that produces random gibberish... erm, conspiracies.
  10. That's it.
  11. Honest.
  12. There is no hidden agenda.
  13. The truth ain't in here.

  17. So. How does it work?

  19. Simple.
  20. enter the command:

  22. ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: <volume>:<text_files_directory>
  23.  
  24. e.g if the volume (disk) is called foo and the text files are in the
  25. directory, text, in the top level of the foo disk
  26. then the command is:

  28. ASSIGN CONSPIRACY: foo:text
  29.  
  30. Type CONSPIRACY on the CLI or double click the CONSPIRACY icon.

  35. 'Cos it seemed like a good idea at the time.

  48. then send me as many entries for each text file on disk as you can be bothered
  49. to think up..
  50. The idea is to create the biggest, most unmanageable files possible.

  67. So. Who did you rip most of the code from then?

  69. The original idea for this came from a fortune program
  70. written by S.Hawtin on the NORTHC examples disk
  71. and the conspiracy theory generator in the summer
  72. 1996 edition of Alien Encounters(tm) magazine.

  74. It's compiled using NORTHC.

  76. Suggestion : Try sticking the output through jive or valspeak, it makes
  77.              the output almost worth reading...
  78.              You can get both these progs. (by Adams Douglas) from
  79.              aminet (text/misc).
