Short: Popup palette on front screen
Author: Kyzer/CSG
Uploader: Kyzer/CSG <kyzer@4u.net>
Type: util/cli
NOTE: This program requires any version of reqtools.library which is
available on aminet or from PD disks, or coverdisks.
This is a handy little program that replaces the functionality of a tool
that came with Workbench 2, called "Colors", so I'll just nick it's docs :)
"Colors lets you change the colours of any screen, even a screen without
it's own built-in palette changing facility. However, colour changes made
with Colors are only temporary, they cannot be saved to disk like Workbench
colours."
To change the colours of a screen, Colors must open on that screen. To do
this, maneouver the screen whose colours you want to change to the
frontmost position, using the top-right screen depth gadget. Once it is at
the front, drag it down, and any other screens in the way, until you can
see the Workbench screen. Now run Colors by double clicking on it's icon.
Colors has now opened on the frontmost screen, so drag it up again, and
edit the colours with the palette requester. Click on 'OK' to keep any
changes you make to the palette, click on 'Cancel' to restore the original
colours, clicking 'undo' will undo the last change you made."
If you want, you can copy this to SYS:Tools/Colors instead of to C:, as
that is where 'Colors' from Workbench 2 lived.
1.3 compatible
