  13.                - Fixed removal code for ZIB linkvirus. Now detects

  19. Special thanks for sending all the above mentioned viruses are going
  20. to Jan Andersen. VirusZ did not recognize these viruses at the time
  21. when the VTC-Test 1998 took place, therefore the ranking of VirusZ
  22. in this test would be even better right now.

  25. xvs.library - The eXternal Virus Support Library
  26.  
  27. This  library  contains  all the virus recognition and removal code
  28. that was formerly included in VirusZ.  This step has been taken for
  29. one major reason: VirusZ can be  updated fast without releasing the
  30. whole package every week by simply releasing a new library version.

  32. In  the  future,  I  may release the full  documentation (autodocs,
  33. includes, etc.), but I'm  still  not sure about that.  Although the
  34. library  has  been  protected  against  unauthorized  modifications
  35. quite well, it's still too dangerous for me to tell everyone in the
  36. world how it works. There are far too many idiots around  who  have
  37. too much spare time and too destructive ideas.

  39. So simply install the library in this archive to your LIBS:  drawer
  40. to get 100% protection against the latest viruses.
