  1. This is the new release of the Afterstep 1.3 window manager.

  3. This is still an alpha version, because it was only tested
  4. (successfully) on Linux.  If you can test this version on other X
  5. environments, please send (bugs?) report to:

  9. Installation:

  11. The file afterstep1.3a16.tgz contains the source of the programs :
  12. afterstep and a new xterm "clone" called xiterm.  The INSTALL text
  13. file must be read before any installation.  The gnustep.tgz contains
  14. the standard configuration files ( different from the 1.0 version).
  15. Once untarred, the gnustep directory must be available in your home
  16. directory (it can also be in /usr/local/share).
