  1. The file ORIBIN.ZOO contains the binaries for the ST version of  the  ORIGAMI
  2. folding  editor  (version  1.6).  The  archive  furthermore  contains   docs,
  3. pre-compiled keybindings, sources for keybindings and an emacs-tutorial (only
  4. useful when using the emacs-like keybinding, which are not the default ones).
  5. The docs are readily formatted for printing on an epson or compatible printer
  6. (nec etc. should work, too). You will need ZOO2.1 in order to uncompress.

  8. Origami is a folding editor similar to the TDS editor. (Some PC users call it
  9. an outline editor.) ORIGAMI enables you to fold parts of your texts in  order
  10. to increase readability. The additional folding information is written to the
  11. file, but it is hidden by embedding it in comments - the  comment  syntax can
  12. be defined to meet nearly  every  existing  language  (C,Pascal,shell script,
  13. Assembler, miranda, ...). Some of the highlights of ORIGAMI include:
  14.  - keyboard macros - record keyboard events and replay them when needed
  15.  - argument repeat - simply say 'repeat that command 17 times' ...
  16.  - a powerful macro language (OCL = Origami Control Language).  OCL  includes
  17.    if, while, ... structures, local variables and much  more  and  allows  to
  18.    write very powerful macros (take a  look  at  the  towers-of-hanoi and the
  19.    fill-paragraph macros).
  20.  - freely defineable keyboard layout - use the command syntax YOU like
  21.  - some powerful shell & pipe commands - send your text to/from  an  external
  22.    command, pipe your text through an external filter, ...
  23.  - TDS compatibility - ORIGAMI is able to read,  write  &  edit  the  strange
  24.    binary file format used by the INMOS Transputer Development  System  -  so
  25.    you do not need a transputer to edit these files anymore
  26.  - filed folds: you can enter and exit these folds just like other  folds  in
  27.    your text, but in fact they  are  different  files  ...  these  files  are
  28.    loaded/saved automatically if you enter/exit such folds.
  29.  - autosave: the current text  is  saved  automatically  after  a  selectable
  30.    period of time
