Note on Distribution: NoCD
--------------------------
I decided to add this line, because Aminet has suspended freebies for
authors (you now have to pay 5 to 15 DM for a so-called "freebie").
Meeting Pearls IV CD costs only 3/5 (14.95 DM) of an Aminet CD (25 DM)
and offers freebies (including shipping costs) for all authors (see
"http://home.pages.de/~MP/"). So Meeting Pearls IV demonstrates that
a Freebie policy is also possible with "very-low-budget" CD-ROMs.
For distribution on other CDs see the enclosed AmigaGuide documentation.
Trekkie is a database, that offers the possibility to manage all the
Star Trek episodes.
Apart from collecting the usual data such as Episodetitle, -number, Stardate
and so on, it facilitates to build a kind of "Who is Who" by managing
the "Maker"-information.
Moreover there is a - admittedly simple - video database included.
The program requires Kickstart/Workbench 3.0.
For reasonable speed you should at the very least have a 68020 CPU.
With the provided datafile the program needs about 3.5MB RAM at
runtime.
The datafile is now included in this archive. Updates can be found on
my homepage (see the docs for address).
Trekkie is ⌐ 1996-98 by Stefan Osterburg. For more information please refer
to the AmigaGuide« Documentation.
