  1. 1) In order to process the file you need the styles clomono01 and calsymbols
  2. 1.a) clmono01.fmt  
  3. is the Springer style on which I wrote the paper.
  4. In order to produce it you have to
  5.         build a folder titled clmomu01
  6.         copy there the content of the folder  clmomu01
  7.         within that foilder give the command
  8.            initex clmono01.ini
  9. 1b)  calsymbols   
  10. is the astronomical font which I have used in order to produce
  11. the \qed signe 
  12. I included (in the folder "style') the files which I have used on my sun (but failes on my MAC);
  13. I think that it is better if you go to
  14.     http://www.mai.liu.se/~laale/Astro/Calsymbols/
  15. following the instruction there
  16. 1c) to compile the file you must give the command
  17.     tex \&clmono01 2SPES
  18. An alternative command should be
  19.      tex '&clmono01'  2SPES
  20. You will surely get a latex error:
  21.     l.1 \documentstyle[calsymbols]{clmono01}
  22.                                             
  23. Don't worry, hit Enter and no problem should happen
  24. 2) Here you will find all the files
  25. *) In the folder FILES you will find 
  26.     *) the .ps and .dvi files of the book
  27.     *) the auxiliary files
  28. *) In the folder SPES2 you will find 
  29.     *) the file "2SPES" to run and 
  30.     *) all the files which will be coalled by it
  31. *) In the folder clmomu01K you will find
  32.     *) the files necessary (and some un-nacessary ones) to produce
  33.     the style clmono01
  34. *) In the foldes styles I have put all the "calsymbols." stuff I need to run 
  35. it on my computer.

  38. ====> the name of the files is not necessarily the name of the corresponding chapter:
  39. ====> e.g. the .tex file of Chapter Macaulay III is Macaulay2.tex
