  4. Description:
  5.    This lets the user specify what username to send to irc servers when
  6.    connecting to the network.  Naturally, it requires that the client
  7.    have this set before actually connecting to the network.

  12. Restrictions:
  13.    This command is generally useless for users on hosts that use identd
  14.    (RFC 1413).  Most modern irc servers query the host's identd server
  15.    to (try to) obtain the user's real username, and will ignore what the
  16.    client sends it.

  18. Other Notes:
  19.    Yes, this is one of the more controversial elements of EPIC.  It's
  20.    intent is to provide privacy for those who desire it.  Those who use
  21.    it for abusive purposes can expect to be dealt with accordingly on
  22.    the servers and networks they use.
