This is a DeliPlayer based on code (C) by Fredrik Olsson (FluBBa/WarD)
and is being distributed as copyrighted FreeWare.
This is a player for NSF files, which contain ripped replay code and
data for NES (Nintendo Entertainment System, a.k.a. Famicom) music.
Essentially, this player will allow you to listen to NES music by
emulating replay code that has been ripped and converted into
the NSF format.
There are two versions:
NSF - regular 4 channel version
NSF_note - 5 channel version for noteplayers only
Both versions require a 68020 or better CPU.
It is recommended that you use the noteplayer version, however this
player requires mixing so you may have to modify your noteplayer
preferences for best effect. Try to set the mixing frequency as
high as possible, preferably around 44kHz or so. If you want
to see the fifth channel (DMC) use the X-Scope which should be
included in the DeliTracker distribution.
WARNING: This player is not completely stable at this time. I know
of at least one piece of music that will crash my machine and others
do not play properly and could potentially be dangerous. It is
recommended that you use this player with care. Test all your
NSF files when your system is safe to be crashed and never play
any unknown NSF files when you're doing something important. If
a file plays correctly it should always be safe but nevertheless...
