  6.    Here are some "improvements" made to the Helper:
  7.  
  8.         - Scripts Editor v1.0: New! Will let you edit the 3 scripts files
  9.                                that Whap! use (if you need them to access
  10.                                CompuServe) with the 3 phone numbers found
  11.                                in the Whap! parameters.
  12.  
  13.         - Catalog Zapper v1.1, F-Keys Editor v1.1, Signatures Editor v1.1:
  14.                                Mostly "cosmetic" fixes to improve
  15.                                user interface. (You don't have to use
  16.                                the mouse to go from field to field. Use 
  17.                                the <CR> if you want).
  18.                                The Book Editor is still v1.0.

  24.             Whap! Helper  -  3 Jul 90

  27.    Whap! Helper is a CanDo deck that is used to help Whap! users in four
  28.    ways:
  29.  
  30.     
  31.        - Catalog Zapper: Will delete (if you want to) the .CAT files that
  32.               Whap! create for its Forum Catalogs (The C
  33.               button in Whap!) Ex: If you catalog LIB 1
  34.               of AmigaTech, you will have an AmigaTech.CAT
  35.               in your WHAP: Msgs path. This file get bigger
  36.               everytime you do a catalog of a library. There
  37.               is no way to delete it from within Whap! Catalog
  38.               Zapper will show you these files and ask you if
  39.               you want to delete them, and delete them for
  40.                  you. Catalog Zapper need to know where you keep
  41.               your msgs, so it will keep this information in
  42.               a text file called Where.Cat in you WHAP: direc-
  43.               tory. The first time you use Whap! Helper it
  44.               will display an error message asking you
  45.               to use the Config function in the pull-down
  46.               menu. You only have to do this once.

  48.     - Book Editor:    This Book is a text file in your WHAP: directory
  49.               that contains all the names, User ID and 
  50.               comments that you use when you want to send a
  51.               message (The W button). You can use
  52.               the Book Editor if you want to manually 
  53.               enter this information.

  55.     - Signatures Ed:  The Signatures Editor will help you change or
  56.               create 2 files: WHAP:Signature and
  57.               WHAP:E.Signature. Signature is the signature that
  58.               Whap! add to every message that you send to
  59.               a Forum User. The E.Signature is the same but
  60.               is used only for Electronic Mail.      
  61.  
  62.     - F-Keys Editor:  Used to modify/create the Function Keys that are
  63.               enabled when you Write a message. The text for
  64.               each of these keys is kept in 10 differents
  65.               files in the WHAP: directory: F1 to F10.

  67.         NOTE: If you use DeckBrowser to run this deck, you must change
  68.               the Default Tool of the deck icon to C:Deckbrowser with
  69.               the Workbench Info command from the pull down menu. The
  70.               Default Tool is DeckRunner.
