  8. License Agreement
  9.  
  10. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  11. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  12. agreement from MatterWare, your use of this software indicates 
  13. your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.
  14.  
  15. Registered Version
  16.  
  17. The Registered Version is the same as the Demonstration Version,
  18. but with a valid UserID and KeyCode stored in your computer's
  19. Windows Registry to allow entry of more than 20 families.
  20. The UserID and KeyCode are obtained as a result of registering
  21. with MatterWare, and payment of the registration fee.
  22.  
  23. One Registered Version of Family matters may either be used
  24. by a single person on one or more family owned computers, or 
  25. installed on a single workstation used by multiple people,
  26. but not both.
  27.  
  28. You may access Family Matters 97 through a network, provided 
  29. that you have obtained individual licenses for the users and/or
  30. workstations that will access the software through the network.
  31. For instance, if eight (8) different workstations will use or
  32. access Family Matters 97 on the network, then each workstation 
  33. must have its own Family Matters license, regardless of whether
  34. they use Family Matters at different times or concurrently.

  36. Governing Law

  38. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

  40. Disclaimer of Warranty

  42. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  43. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  44. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. NO WARRANTY OF 
  45. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  47. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  48. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  49. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.
  50. ANY LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY

  56. providing a User ID and/or key Code), you are hereby licensed
  57. to make as many copies of this software and documentation as
  58. you wish; give exact copies of the original software to anyone;
  59. and distribute the software and documentation in its unmodified
  60. form via electronic or physical means.

  62. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  63. donations, for any such copies, and from distributing the software
  64. with other products UNLESS it is made clear to the purchaser 
  65. that a registration fee (see ORDERS.TXT) is due MatterWare
  66. to unlock the full features of this program.
