  10. Installation for Windows 95  (see below for Windows Plus)

  12. There are four separate files to download for your entertainment:  Cursors, Sounds, Icons, and
  13. Desktop.  Follow these steps for intallation of each:
  14.  
  15.     Unzip the file using Winzip version 6.0 or higher into a directory of your choice
  16.     (do not use any other unzip program, because they do not support the long filenames!)
  17.     When you extract from winzip, deselect "Use Folder Names" option. Pod Theme will be
  18.     installed into the directory of your choice.

  21. How to Use the Applications:
  22.  
  23.     Cursors:
  24.  
  25.     From the Control Panel, select Mouse, then select Pointers.  This will display a list
  26.         of pointers that are currently used (left column). Select one of them and click browse.
  27.     Under "Look In", scroll down to the pod theme folder and click once.  Then double-click 
  28.     on the pod theme folder which appears.  Chosse one of the cursors (right column)
  29.     and click Open.  Click Apply and OK to save,

  48.     From the Control Panel, double click on "Sounds" and it will bring up a list of Windows
  49.         events.  Select one of the events (listed in left column below) and click browse.  Under
  50.     "Look In", scroll down to the pod theme folder and click once.  Then double-click on the 
  51.     pod theme folder which appears.  Choose one of the file sounds (right column) and click OK.
  52.     Click Apply then OK to save.

  55.     Use the following sounds for the following events (or match to your taste).

  73.     To use the Desktop icons and Folder icons, you need to install Microangelo or another
  74.     program to associate default icons with other icons. With MicroAangelo, use 
  75.     MicroAngelo Engineer:

  95.     This application is for aspiring artists! To open this application, go to the pod 
  96.     theme folder and double-click FONDEC.  To save your POD design as wallpaper, go to File.

  100. 1.    Unzip the file using Winzip version 6.0 or higher into your themes directory (do
  101.     not use another unzip program, because they will not support the long filenames.)
  102.     When you extract from winzip, make sure you have the "Use Folder Names" button
  103.     checked or it will not work. (It will make a folder called "PODTHEME" inside your
  104.     themes directory.

  106. 2.    Activate the themes section of control panel and select the "Pod theme" from the
  107.     list. It is present in both the root directory of your themes folder and in the
  108.     "PODTHEME" sub-directory.
  109.  
  110. 3.    To activate the startup and shutdown screens, simply copy "logo.sys" into your
  111.     root directory (usually drive C:\). Next, copy "logow.sys" & "logos.sys" into your
  112.     main windows directory (usually C:\windows\).
  113.   
  114.     **********Important**********
  115.  
  116.     If you wish to retain your original startup and shut down screens, you must make
  117.     a backup BEFORE copying the files!
  118.  
  119. 4.    To use the Folder icons, you need to install MicroAngelo or another program to
  120.     associate default icons with other icons. With MicroAngelo, use MicroAngelo
  121.     Engineer, select Folder and associate the icons like this:
