  16. This installation must be done only if the normal installation failed.
  17.  
  18.  
  19. In this explanations,  we'll use "PodDir"  term to talk  about Pod installation 
  20. directory  (default  value \UbiSoft\Pod2_0).  We'll use  "InstallLanguage"  for
  21. the installation language.
  22.  
  23. 0. Run "GameServiceInstall"
  24.    A directory name where the files'll be unzipped is displayed. Note it.
  25.  
  26. 1. Click on "Unzip" then "Ok"
  27.  
  28. 2. A window with the logo Game Service is displayed. Click on "Cancel" button
  29.  
  30. 3. Go to the diretory where the files were unzipped.
  31.  
  32. 4. Move all files with extension img in the directory
  33.    PodDir\data\binary\mimg\InstallLanguage\
  34.  
  35. 5. Move Fnt_Menu.BP3 in the directory
  36.    PodDir\data\binary\polices
  37.  
  38. 6. Move BetaMnu.Bin in the directory
  39.    PodDir\data\binary\scripts
  40.  
  41. 7. Move all files with the extension txt, and dll into the PodDir
  42.  
  43. 8. If you have a MMX version of POD
  44.        If you have an ATI 3D card
  45.            rename winpod.exe in podatix.exe and move it into the PodDir
  46.        If you have a S3D card
  47.            rename winpod.exe in pods3dx.exe and move it into the PodDir
  48.        If you have a 3DFX card
  49.            move wpodx3dfx.exe into the PodDir
  50.        Else
  51.            rename winpod.exe in podmmx.exe and move it into the PodDir
  52.  
  53. 9. If you have a normal Pentium version of POD
  54.        If you have an ATI 3D card
  55.            rename winpod.exe in wpodati.exe and move into the PodDir
  56.        If you have a S3D card
  57.            rename winpod.exe in wpods3d.exe and move it into the PodDir
  58.        If you have a 3DFX card
  59.            move wpod3dfx.exe into the PodDir
  60.        Else
  61.            move winpod.exe into the PodDir

  75.                    Installation manuelle du GameService

  77. L'installation  manuelle ne doit etre faite que si l'installation  normale s'est 
  78. mal passee.

  81. Dans les explications suivantes nous utiliserons le terme "PodDir" pour designer 
  82. le  repertoire  d'installation  de Pod (par defaut \UbiSoft\Pod2_0). De meme que 
  83. nous designerons par "LangueInstall" la langue choisie a l'installation.

  86. 0. Lancez l'executable "GameServiceInstall"
  87.    Le nom du repertoire ou les fichiers seront decompresses apparait. Notez-le.

  89. 1. Cliquez sur "UnZip" puis "Ok"
  90.  
  91. 2. Une fenetre  avec  une plaque de  metal "Game Service" apparait. Cliquez sur 
  92.    "Cancel"
  93.  
  94. 3. Placez vous dans le repertoire ou les fichiers ont ete decompresses.

  96. 4. Deplacez tous les fichiers d'extension img dans le repertoire
  97.    PodDir\data\binary\mimg\LangueInstall\
  98.  
  99. 5. Deplacez le fichier Fnt_Menu.BP3 dans le repertoire
  100.    PodDir\data\binary\polices

  102. 6. Deplacez le fichier BetaMnu.Bin dans le repertoire
  103.    PodDir\data\binary\scripts
  104.  
  105. 7. Deplacez tous les fichiers d'extension txt, dll dans PodDir
  106.  
  107. 8. Si vous avez une version MMX
  108.        Si vous avez une carte ATI
  109.            renommez winpod.exe en podatix.exe et deplacez le dans PodDir
  110.        Si vous avez une carte S3D
  111.            renommez winpod.exe en pods3dx.exe et deplacez le dans PodDir
  112.        Si vous avez une carte 3DFX
  113.            deplacez wpodx3dfx.exe dans PodDir
  114.        Sinon
  115.            renommez winpod.exe en podmmx.exe et deplacez le dans PodDir

  117. 9. Si vous avez une version Pentium
  118.        Si vous avez une carte ATI
  119.            renommez winpod.exe en wpodati.exe et deplacez le dans PodDir
  120.        Si vous avez une carte S3D
  121.            renommez winpod.exe en wpods3d.exe et deplacez le dans PodDir
  122.        Si vous avez une carte 3DFX
  123.            deplacez wpod3dfx.exe dans PodDir
  124.        Sinon
  125.            deplacez winpod.exe le dans PodDir
