- Description
- -----------
-
- Watch provides a variety of MIDI diagnostic and support functions. It
- is like a Swiss army knife for MIDI musicians. Its most basic function
- is to display incoming MIDI codes in a readable fashion. A data review
- buffer which can be viewed at any time shows the data in even more
- detail, with full descriptions of the MIDI codes. The buffer contents
- may be saved to a standard MIDI file for later use. For diagnostic work
- or device setup, assignable "send keys" may be used to send short MIDI
- data strings, or entire files. A filter/patchbay facility permits
- selective message removal, channel redirection, note range limiting,
- volume changes, and transposition. Full on-screen help is available.
