Q: I filled out the form to register and sent it via MS Exchange (I think) but I am not sure if it was actually sent.
A: If you have not received reply within 24 to 48 hours, something is wrong. First, make sure you have actually sent your email. Did you address it to sales@ursiny.com? We receive good number of orders without attached or pasted-in order form. On the other hand, the Internet itself is still very volatile, therefore consider sending it again.
Q: My system crashed a couple of weeks ago and I had to download Minitris again but it is showing that it is an unregistered copy and I lost my key for the game...
A: Simply send email to support@ursiny.com with your name and address and approximate date of your order and your serial number and unlocking code will be forwarded to you as quickly as possibly. Free of charge, of course. But you might start thinking about backing up your hard disk...
Q: My family loves Minitris. Do you have any other games?
A: We have not released any other games. We are working on some, but unfortunately you'll have to wait. It's worth mentioning that we prefer to release our software only AFTER it was thoroughly tested to avoid your disappointment. Therefore it takes a bit more time to introduce it to you.
Q: The software scores funny, for example 63 pts. per brick on level one or 29 pts. or some other odd number.
A: The scoring probably works correctly. You will get more points when you drop the block from higher height. You will get more points if you make three-in-a-row horizontally than vertically and even more if they are in diagonal direction (of course, nothing beats four in a row). As your level increases, so do your per-block points.
Q: I have registered Minitris 2.0. Will I be eligible for free upgrades?
A: Yes. All upgrades in Minitris 2.x series will have same serial number/unlock code system, so your current serial number/unlock code combination will work with it. As for the future versions, our registered customers are always treated to special deals and are offered substantial discounts on upgrades and on other software products, when they become available.

We receive a large number of orders with incorrect information. Because this will usually cause a slight delay in ordering procedure, we thought that few helpful hints on proper ordering is the least we can do.
There is nothing we can do if we receive an order with no reply address, phone number, email address, etc. Please make sure you include your complete mailing address, telephone number and if ordering via email, your email address. Sometimes your reply address is incorrectly spelled out and we cannot answer your email.
The biggest problem when it comes to your email. The most spelling-critical information are your email address (or regular address if applicable) and your credit card number. Please pay extra attention when entering this data into your order form and double-check it before sending it out.
UCI checks every credit card for its validity. We are required to do that and we know our customers expect us to do it for their own credit card security. When ordering software from UCI with credit card, please make sure your credit card is valid, not expired, and its number is correctly entered into order form. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards as well as checks and money orders in US funds only.
This should really be a part of problem #1, but it is so widespread that we decided to point it out under separate heading. Your serial number is necessary for generating correct unlocking key. The serial number is located near the top of your ordering form.
We receive a good number of orders via email or fax with check/money order form of payment. Of course, there is no check attached to the email or fax message. Some of them will eventually arrive in regular postal mail, but most won't. Because understandably we do not process orders until we receive the payment, send your orders with check/money order form of payment via regular mail.
How long does it take for me to receive the unlocking key?
Since the release of Minitris 2 series in January 1997 we have processed 99% of all orders within 6 to 8 hours (!) of receipt. This includes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We know you need the key as quickly as possible and we intend to continue doing everything to ensure your satisfaction.
How safe is sending my order with my credit card number via email?
If you use (and you should) our Registration Wizard within Minitris, it will not only generate your order form for you, it will also encrypt your credit card number. However, because of the general insecure character of the Internet, UCI does not guarantee the total security of your credit card number.
But we've done our best - the potential thief would have to break the encryption algorithm (which changes from time to time) and our email passwords (which change all the time). Even though we have not had a single security problem, fax or standard mail are still safer. It is also worth remembering that using somebody else's credit card without his or her permission is very serious federal crime...
- Possible reasons for order delays :
- Missing return address, email address, etc.
- Regular postal mail takes much longer than email or fax.
- Request the key to be sent to you via regular mail.
- Have you spelled our email address correctly (sales@ursiny.com)?
- Internet related technical problems - wide variety
Also, once or twice a year we close for vacation. It might be from a few days up to a month. Please, always check our main web page where such information would be prominently posted. We ask for your patience and understanding.
There could be an endless parade of other technical problems : fax machine broke down, the office burned down, computers crashed and back-up tapes were stolen. If you emailed your order and have not received any response within the next 24 to 48 hours, something is wrong. The snail mail from the USA and Canada usually arrives within 2 to 4 days, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa can take longer, sometimes one or two weeks.
If you urgently need help, or in other situation where e-mail is not sufficient, you can call us. Our fax number is specifically designated for orders only, and for faxes we have requested or approved to receive. We ask you not to include our fax number to any broadcast or other marketing lists, which are used for unsolicited fax transmissions.
