  6.  This is a brand new game combining the best elements of Klondike
  7.  (one of the world's most popular solitaires) and Scorpion (a game
  8.  that offers tremendous opportunity for skillful play), with a
  9.  distinctly Oriental flair.

  11.  Chinese Solitaire is feature-packed, with full statistics, optional
  12.  "easy" mode, autoplay, selectable card backs and colors, great
  13.  graphics, and excellent sound.

  15. Requirements:

  17.  Chinese Solitaire requires Windows 3.1 or later and a mouse.  The game
  18.  will run from a floppy disk, but a hard drive is recommended.  If you
  19.  want to hear the sound effects and background music, you'll need a
  20.  sound card.  Chinese Solitaire requires VBRUN200.DLL, which may or
  21.  may not be distributed with the program.  If not, it is available from
  22.  most BBS's, CD-ROMs, and FTP sites, as well as from Microsoft, and from
  23.  the author's web page at "http://www.sky.net/~rrasa/sw.html".

  25. Installation:

  27.  Extract the program files from the distribution archive and put them
  28.  into a temporary directory on your hard disk.
  29.  
  30.  If you wish to use the automated installation utility (recommended), run
  31.  SETUP.EXE, either from the Program Manager "File/Run" menu (in Windows
  32.  3.x), the Start button's "Run" command (in Windows 95), or from the Win95
  33.  command line.  The setup program will prompt you to select a destination
  34.  directory, then copy the files and add a Chinese Solitaire group to
  35.  Program Manager or the Start button.

  37.  If you wish to install the program manually, simply create a directory
  38.  for the program (C:\CHINASOL is suggested) and copy the programs into
  39.  that directory.  Add CHINASOL.EXE into Program Manager or the Win95 Start
  40.  button, or run it directly from File Manager or the Win95 Explorer.

  42.  If you decide to delete Chinese Solitaire, you may remove it from your
  43.  computer by simply erasing the files from it's directory, and removing
  44.  its group from the Program Manager or Start button.

  49.  program, including rules of the game, background information, information
  50.  on the various options and features, a revision history, and instructions
  51.  for registering the game.
