  7. If you've enjoyed to play it and want to keep on playing it,

  13. - Contact SiliconAction.
  14. - Fill the registration form.
  15. - Pay the registration fee.

  17. - You will receive an  unique  and  personal  password  for  being
  18.   installed in your ProjectBrasil copy.  It will  enable  all  the
  19.   ProjectBrasil features.
  20. - You will get all the futures versions TOTALLY free.
  21. - You will be treated as a special client,  participating  in  the
  22.   development of the future versions.

  32.                         Object and Rules

  35. - You have to obtain 50% or more of popularity  to  be  re-elected
  36.   every 4 years;
  37. - The increase of the  cash  and  the  population  of  your  city,
  38.   comparing with the first of your four-year government, increases
  39.   your popularity;
  40. - The lack of something ProjectBrasil asks you for building  (such
  41.   as schools, nurseries, hospitals, etc) reduces your popularity;
  42. - Be careful with the  deforestation  rate ,   it  can  pick  your
  43.   popularity down. Right button click on any tree  to  verify  the
  44.   deforestation rate;
  45. - Start a new city choosing the board size (40x40 ou 20x20) in the
  46.   menu item Game;
  47. - With the 40x40 board you only can view 1/4 of your city.
  48.   To select which part of your city you'd like  to  view  use  the
  49.   scroll bar.
  50. - You make the time goes by clicking on the calendar button in the
  51.   menu bar;
  52. - You can pass the time season by season or year by year;
  53. - Click on Object, in the Game menu item, if you want to know  how
  54.   much cash and how many people your city had in the beginning  of
  55.   your current government;
  56. - Only during the first 4 years you don't need  to  increase  your
  57.   cash for being re-elected, as you have to borrow from the bank;
  58. - You can borrow up to D$ 1000 from the bank, but  watch  out  the
  59.   interest rate;
  60. - Right button click for getting  information  about  anything  in
  61.   your city;
  62. - With the QuickInfo Bar you got quick information about  anything
  63.   in your city,right button clicking while pressing the shift key;
  64. - You can view the city zones and the population density with  the
  65.   View menu item;
  66. - Clicking on Level, in the Game menu item, you can be  re-elected
  67.   easier or harder;
  68. - If you want to build a coastal city, for getting the taxes  from
  69.   the sea ports, click on the Coastal City menu item,  and  choose
  70.   the board size.

  73. * If you got problems with the redrawing of your city ,  click  on
  74.   the Information menu bar.

  83. - Try to start, for example, building a little road  ( such  as  4
  84.   asphalt blocks) and delimit  residential  and  commercial  areas
  85.   next to it,because nothing will grow if it isn't next to a road;
  86. - Don't forget to supply the road with power lines;
  87. - Remember that residential areas  increase  your  population  and
  88.   commercial areas increase your cash. Try to balance the  use  of
  89.   them;
  90. - The commerce only will grow if there's people to buy.  Some kind
  91.   of business (banks, supermarkets, shops, gas  stations,  hotels,
  92.   restaurants, small markets, office buildings, shoppings centers,
  93.   cinemas and theaters) will grow depending on the people, on  the
  94.   competition in its specific segment and  on  the  distance  from
  95.   residential areas;
  96. - Shoppings Centers need 3 commercial lots horizontally joined for
  97.   growing;
  98. - The Hot Hint: Don't build anything such as water pumps, schools,
  99.   police departments,
  100.   hospitals, etc, if ProjectBrasil doesn't ask  you  for  (showing
  101.   you a messagebox). If ProjectBrasil doesn't ask you  for ,  it's
  102.   because you don't need to;
  103. - The collected taxes from port units depends  on  the  population
  104.   and the amount of business of your city;
  105. - When you put pass the time for the first time,ProjectBrasil will
  106.   ask you for building a water pump, next to a lake. Try to choose
  107.   a good place for it, thinking about your city growth;
  108. - Don't try to build a big city in few years.Think as a mayor: the
  109.   object is to be re-elected the more times you can, if you  build
  110.   a big city in few years,  it'll be hard to keep on growing it...
