  7. BAE SYSTEMS is contracted to provide Submarine Maintenance and Support from,  Naval Base
  8.  
  9. Key to support provision is the ability to satisfy stringent safety cases for nuclear submarines to overcome such threats as:- 
  10.  
  11.     Earthquake
  12.     Extreme weather/environmental conditions
  13.         Drop loads/handling error
  14.  
  15. One strategy to address these issues are floating facilities with low level handling capability.
