The Centre features a large multi-function screen simulation showing:
(a) external geographical, navigational and strategic data necessary to operate the submarine including movements/ positions of friendly and enemy craft.
(b) own ship navigation and current positional/operational data
(c) platform management system with realtime system status/health check data all icon-driven.
The Commander and his executive have hands-free head-up display headsets corresponding to the screens for viewing whilst anywhere on the submarine.
Voice activated commands [Dive to Layer 3] [Deploy heli-drone] [Open lock-out] etc are automatically processed and performed. Central control computer communicates with crew using digitised voice.
