This business provides an aerostructures manufacturing service to BAE SYSTEMS Programmes organisation. It also has responsibility for selling this manufacturing capability into other prime contractors besides our own company on terms consistent with UK regulatory requirements.
With facilities at Chadderton near Manchester and at Prestwick, Ayrshire, the company currently manufactures wing leading and trailing edges for all Airbus single aisle variants and undertakes machining, forming and treatment of stringers and spars for Airbus single aisle, long range and wide body variants. They manufacture rear fuselage sets for Regional Jets, wings for Boeing 777 variants, leading edges, main entry door, elevators, flaps and tanks for Raytheon corporate jets and inner wings and structural test components for Nimrod MRA4.
