  6. SIGVESA is a TSR, a terminate stay resident software, which supports the 
  7. VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) Super VGA standard for the
  8. Sigma VGA Legend display adapter.  It allows the user to use the extended
  9. modes in any application that provides VESA drivers.

  11. Extended modes supported:
  12.      6Ah    800x600x16    Graphics
  13.     101h    640x480x256    Graphics
  14.     102h    800x600x16    Graphics
  15.     103h    800x600x256    Graphics
  16.     104h    1024x768x16    Graphics
  17.     105h    1024x768x256    Graphics

  22. To install the VESA BIOS Extension:
  23.     1.  Copy SIGVESA.COM onto your hard disk.
  24.     2.  At the DOS prompt, type:
  25.  
  26.         SIGVESA <Enter>    
  27.  
  28.     3.  Install your application for a VESA supported driver.
  29.     4.  Run your application.

  31. NOTE:    In this release of the VESA BIOS Extension software,
  32.     functions 6 and 7 are not supported.

  35. The 1.1 release corrects the memory paging problem in 256 color modes.
