  2. CHANGING YOUR DATE SETTINGS

  5. To make sure the Windows date setting is correct,
  6. do the following.
  7.  
  8. In Windows 3.1:
  9.  
  10. 1.  On the Window menu, click Main.
  11. 2.  Double-click the Control Panel icon.
  12. 3.  In the Control Panel window, double-click the
  13.     International icon.
  14. 4.  In the Date Format section, click Change.
  15. 5.  Under Short Date Format, make sure that the Century
  16.     checkbox is selected. 
  17. 6.  Click OK.
  18. 7.  Run the Works 3.0 File Updater to update your Works files.

  21. In Windows 95 or Windows 98:
  22.  
  23. 1.  On the taskbar, click the Start button, point to Settings,
  24.     and then click Control Panel.
  25. 2.  Double-click the Regional Settings icon.
  26. 3.  Click the Date tab.
  27. 4.  Under Short Date, in the Short date style box, select a 
  28.     date format that contains a four-digit year (for 
  29.     example, M/d/yyyy).
  30. 5.  Click OK.
  31. 6.  Run the Works 3.0 File Updater to update your Works files.
