  6. + I created these IFF patterns to use as backdrops on my Amiga.
  7. + I run a 1024x768x16 color workbench using a Retina video card, 
  8. + so the patterns are fairly large.  They should, however, look
  9. + fine on a normal WB of 640x480 resolution or higher.  They
  10. + are larger than standard WB patterns, however, so they require
  11. + either NickPrefs or WB 3.x.

  15.     All these patterns were created by hand by Michael Heinz, who
  16.     reserves all rights to them.

  18.     Permission is hereby given to distribute these patterns as long
  19.     as this readme file is included with them.

  23.     This is version 2 of this collection.
  24.  
  25.     Sample_Brushes and Sample_Brushes_2 are snap shots of the various
  26.     patterns.

  28.     Fancy Stone, Stonewall and Herringbone are all 8 color patterns.
  29.     They comply with the MagicWB color scheme, so they shouldn't
  30.     cause problems with that icon set.

  32.     Cobblestones and the wood grain patterns are 16 color patterns, 
  33.     but use MagicWB's colors for the first 8 colors of their palette.  
  34.     (In fact, under 3.x they could probably be reduced to 8 colors 
  35.     with no problem.)
