  12.           ThreadZ Forms Alliance with METZ Software
  13.  
  14. ThreadZ Software Design Group, Inc., developers of utilities for
  15. Microsoft Windows, and METZ Software, developers of shareware
  16. utilities for Windows, have announced the formation of a special
  17. alliance, the goal of which is to facilitate timely software
  18. development and provide easy access to solution-oriented products.

  20. The first result of this alliance is the incorporation of two
  21. of METZ Software's shareware programs into a retail product called
  22. ThreadZ File F/X.  ThreadZ File F/X is a group of four utilities
  23. and a bonus of ThreadZ Task Manager, presented in an "a la carte"
  24. manner so as to facilitate ease of use:

  26. F/X File Manager, simplifies the create, delete, copy, rename and
  27. move functions in Windows 3.0 using an intuitive tree directory display.
  28.  
  29. F/X File Find, a search program enabling users to locate files on
  30. any attached hard drive, provides for the use of DOS wildcards,
  31. specific file extensions, or even file creation dates as search
  32. criteria.

  34. F/X File Undelete provides a list of deleted files, states the
  35. likelihood of a successful recovery, and, when prompted, will attempt
  36. to undelete the chosen file.

  38. F/X Text Search allows users to search a file, path name, directory
  39. or an entire disk for a text string.  A list of matching files is
  40. displayed and may be printed as a report.

  42. The ThreadZ Task Manager, a distinctive replacement for Windows'
  43. Task List, utilizes a menu which may be used to launch applications
  44. and lets you arrange your windows the way that works best for you!

  63. The files contained on this disk are self extracting archive files.
  64. By creating these files this way, we can provide more programs on
  65. a diskette and you can un-archive them without any special tools.

  77. Simply run the desired self extracting archive to extract it's contents.
  78. For example, to extract the Phones files, copy PH.EXE to your disk then
  79. type PH.  The contents of PH.EXE will be extracted.  PH.EXE does not
  80. delete itself.
