This is a sneaky program that let's you download any programs associated with a HTML web page, whether you are supposed to be able to do so or not. Install and run - this is freeware so enjoy it. Excellent on-line help details how to get the best out of the program.

Save Username & Password details
One of the biggest problems with the first version was that you were not able to connect to sites which required some sort of user authentication. Fortunately this feature has now been included so you can connect to such sites with ease, and easily download any files on the site without needing to enter a password for each file.
Cache Site Information
Another new feature, already implemented by many modern browsers is the ability to cache site information so that you donÆt necessarily need to re-connect to a site each time to view the file information. Web Leech 2 lets you specify how many sites you wish to cache and the next time you load the application the source/logon information for this site will be loaded automatically.
New Explorer-esque interface
The interface has been cleaned up letting you use the familiar Explorer interface which allows you to drag-and-drop files between your local machine and a remote site.
Browser Integration
Since a lot of the time youÆll be leeching sites that youÆve just been browsing in your favourite browser weÆve made it easier to select a site to leech from. Using the Web Leech explorer you are able to retrieve the current URL from either Netscape or Internet Explorer.
Automatically inform you of updates.
More and more applications these days give their users the ability to automatically download new versions of the software from the net, or inform the user that their current version is not up-to-date. This has now been implemented into Web Leech2.
