  7. -------------
  8. This is v2.03 of the Stealth 3D 2000 Series Windows NT 4.0 drivers.

  10. Installation Notes
  11. ------------------
  12. You must have Windows NT 4.0 installed with the Standard VGA driver (640x480x16) 
  13. before you install the Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 Series NT drivers.  If you are 
  14. running a different graphics mode please re-configure for Standard VGA.

  17. Installation Instructions
  18. -------------------------
  19. 1.  Once you have confirmed that you are running in Standard VGA, place the 
  20.     Stealth 3D 2000 Series Windows NT Driver Diskette into the floppy drive.

  22. 2.  Open the Windows NT Control Panel.
  23.  
  24. 3.  Select the Display icon.
  25.  
  26. 4.  Select the Settings tab.
  27.  
  28. 5.  Select Display Type.
  29.  
  30. 6.  Select Change.
  31.  
  32. 7.  Select Have Disk.
  33.  
  34. 8.  Confirm that the Driver Diskette is in A: (or you can change the drive 
  35.     letter if the driver diskette is in another drive) and select OK.

  37. 9.  You will now be presented with a list of driver entries. Select:

  41. 10. Select OK.

  43. 11. A "Third-party Drivers" dialog box will appear, select Yes to proceed.
  44.  
  45. 12. A "Installing Driver" dialog box will appear confirming that the driver
  46.     has been successfully installed, select OK.

  48. 13. Select Close.

  50. 14. Select Close.

  52. 15. A "System Settings Change" dialog box will appear, select Yes to restart
  53.     the computer.  You need to restart Windows NT 4.0 for the changes to take
  54.     place.

  56. Note that the default resolution that installed is 640x480x8 60Hz.
  57.     
  58. From this point on, you can change your resolution/color depth by
  59. using the Display Icon in the Control Panel.  Select the
  60. "List All Modes" button.  This will display all resolutions and
  61. refresh rates available.  Please use the Test option so that you
  62. can confirm that the selected refresh rate and resolution is
  63. supported by your monitor.

  76. - MCD feature not supported in 16-bit mode.
  77. - No overlay support in 24-bit mode.
  78. - In some modes, you may experience a problem while shelling to a full 
  79.   screen DOS session during video playback.
