  1. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  4. HP SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS

  7. The following License Terms govern your use of the accompanying 
  8. Software unless you have a separate signed agreement with HP.
  9.  
  10. License Grant.
  11. HP grants you a license to Use one copy of the Software.
  12. "Use" means storing, loading, installing, executing or displaying the
  13. Software. You may not modify the Software or disable any licensing or
  14. control features of the Software. If the Software is licensed for 
  15. "concurrent use", you may not allow more than the maximum number of 
  16. authorized users to Use the Software concurrently.
  17.  
  18. Ownership.
  19. The Software is owned and copyrighted by HP or its third party 
  20. suppliers. Your license confers no title to, or ownership in, the
  21. Software and is not a sale of any rights in the Software. HP's third
  22. party suppliers may protect their rights in the event of any violation
  23. of these License Terms.

  25. Copies and Adaptations.
  26. You may only make copies or adaptations of the Software for archival 
  27. purposes or when copying or adaptation is an essential step in the 
  28. authorized Use of the Software. You must reproduce all copyright
  29. notices in the original Software on all copies or adaptations. You 
  30. may not copy the Software onto any public network.

  32. No Disassembly or Decryption.
  33. You may not disassemble or decompile the Software unless HP's prior
  34. written consent is obtained. In some jurisdictions, HP's consent may
  35. not be required for limited disassembly or decompilation. Upon 
  36. request, you will provide HP with reasonably detailed information 
  37. regarding any disassembly or decompilation. You may not decrypt the
  38. Software unless decryption is a necessary part of the operation of
  39. the Software.

  41. Transfer. 
  42. Your license will automatically terminate upon any transfer of the 
  43. Software. Upon transfer, you must deliver the Software, including
  44. any copies and related documentation, to the transferee. The 
  45. transferee must accept these License Terms as a condition to the
  46. transfer.

  49. Termination.
  50. HP may terminate your license upon notice for failure to comply with
  51. any of these License Terms. Upon termination, you must immediately 
  52. destroy the Software, together with all copies, adaptations and 
  53. merged portions in any form.
  54.  
  55. Export Requirements.
  56. You may not export or re-export the Software or any copy or adaptation
  57. in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  58.  
  59. U.S. Government Restricted Rights.
  60. The Software and any accompanying documentation have been developed 
  61. entirely at private expense. They are delivered and licensed as 
  62. "commercial computer software" as defined in DFARS 252.227-7013
  63. (Oct 1988), DFARS 252.211-7015 (May 1991) or DFARS 252.227-7014
  64. (Jun 1995), as a "commercial item" as defined in FAR 2.101(a), or
  65. as "Restricted computer software" as defined in FAR 52.227-19 
  66. (Jun 1987)(or any equivalent agency regulation or contract clause),
  67. whichever is applicable. You have only those rights provided for
  68. such Software and any accompanying documentation by the applicable 
  69. FAR or DFARS clause or the HP standard software agreement for the
  70. product involved.

  73. ATTENTION ANY PARTY INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE FOR USE BY PARTIES OTHER
  74. THAN THEMSELVES (e.g. VAR's, RESELLERS, SYSTEM INTEGRATORS, etc.):

  76. ANY PERSON TO WHOM THIS SOFTWARE IS TRANSFERRED SHOULD BE AWARE THAT
  77. USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS SUBJECT TO ANY HP SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS 
  78. DISTRIBUTED WITH THE SOFTWARE. USE OF THE SOFTWARE INDICATES 
  79. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. IF THE USER DOES NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS,
  80. THE SOFTWARE SHOULD BE RETURNED.
