  13. Installation process for Windows 95.
  14.  
  15. The self extractor will extract KDS monitor drivers to
  16. C:\KDS folder.   Follow the procedure below:
  17.  
  18. 1.   Close all open applications.
  19. 2.   From Windows the Windows desktop, click;
  20.     START
  21.     Settings
  22.     Controll Panel
  23. 3.   Click Display Properties
  24. 4.   Click the Settings tab
  25. 5.   Click Change Display Type or Advanced Properties
  26. At this point you will need to know if you have Windows 95 REV A 
  27. or REV B. If you Revision A you will have a Tab called Change 
  28. Display Type if you have Revision B you will have Advanced 
  29. Properties.

  31. For Revision A

  33. Click Change Display Type 
  34. Click Change on the MONITOR PART OF THE SCREEN (The lower Section)
  35. Click on the Show all Devices button 
  36. Click Have Disk
  37. Click Browse
  38. Double Click on C:
  39. Click c:\KDS
  40. Click OK 
  41. Highlight KDS under Manufacturers from the List 
  42. Click on the Monitor that you have
  43. Click OK 
  44. Click Close to exit display Properties
  45. Click START
  46. Click SHUTDOWN
  47. Click RESTART

  49. For Revision B

  51. Click on Advanced Properties
  52. Click on the Monitor Tab
  53. Click on Change 
  54. Click on the Show all Devices button 
  55. Clck Have Disk
  56. Click Browse
  57. Double Click on C:
  58. Click c:\KDS
  59. Click OK 
  60. Highlight KDS under Manufacturers from the List 
  61. Click on the Monitor that you have
  62. Click Apply
  63. You will get a message "Windows will now Adjust the Refresh Rate. 
  64. If the screen becomes garbled wait 10 seconds and your original 
  65. setting will return. 
  66. Do You want to Keep these settings  Say "YES"  
  67. Click OK

  93. 12.  Click c:\KDS
  94. 13.  Click OK 
  95. 14.  Highlight KDS under Manufacturers from the List 
  96. 15.  Click on the Monitor that you have
  97. 16.  Click Apply
  98.     You will get a message "Windows will now Adjust the

  108. 1.  Close all programs
  109. 2.  Click START
  110. 3.  Click SETTINGS
  111. 4.  Click CONTROL PANEL
  112. 5.  Click SYSTEM
  113. 6.  CLick DEVICE MANAGER
  114. 7.  Double click MONITOR.  Current device will be displayed. 
  115. 8.  Highlite the device
  116. 9.  Double-click device
  117. 10. You will get two tabs; GENERAL and DRIVER
  118. 11. Click on DRIVER
  119. 12. Click UPDATE DRIVER
  120. 13. Click NEXT
  121. 14. Click DISPLAY LIST OF ALL DRIVERS IN A SPECIFIC LOCATION
  122.     SO YOU CAN SELECT THE DRIVERS YOU WANT.    
  123. 15. Click NEXT
  124. 16. Click HAVE DISK
  125. 17. Type C:\KDS over the default A:\
  126. 18. Click OK
  127. 19. Click OK
  128. 20. Click NEXT
  129. 21. Click NEXT
  130. 22. Click FINISH
