  1. The file obj_spec.ps.Z is a compressed PostScript file that describes
  2. the Wavefront .obj file format.  It is the actual PostScript for
  3. Appendix B1 from the Advanced Visualizer Reference Manual.  The file
  4. obj_spec.txt.Z is a compressed (very) raw text version of the same
  5. document.

  7. There is a lot of information that was lost in the raw text file;
  8. italics, bolding, diagrams, tables, equations, etc.  If you have a
  9. PostScript printer (or even a screen previewer), the PostScript version
  10. of the document will be much better than the ASCII version.

  12. Just a word of warning, the raw text file is 54 pages long and the
  13. PostScript version is 78 pages.
