  10. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Code.Print for Visual Basic 2.24

  23.                          Distribution Requirements

  26. Individuals who wish to distribute the Code.Print for Visual Basic package
  27. to friends or associates may do so in accordance with the restrictions
  28. outlined in LICENSE.TXT.
  29.  
  30. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the Code.Print for Visual
  31. Basic package to their disk library may do so in accordance with the
  32. Distribution Restrictions listed below.

  34.    If you would like your Computer Club or User Group to be placed on our
  35.    mailing list for future upgrades to any of our products, please contact
  36.    us for complete details.  Our address, phone number, and CompuServe User
  37.    ID number is listed in DESCRIBE.TXT.

  39. Limited Distribution License:

  42. As the exclusive copyright holder for Code.Print for Visual Basic, Caladonia
  43. Systems Inc. authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following
  44. restrictions.
  45.  
  46. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  47. distribute Code.Print for Visual Basic package.  Non-ASP member vendors must
  48. request permission prior to distributing this package.
  49.  
  50. The Code.Print for Visual Basic package is defined as containing all the
  51. material listed in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed in the
  52. PACKING.LST text file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are missing, then the
  53. package is not complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to
  54. obtain a complete package suitable for distribution.

  56. The Code.Print for Visual Basic package - including all related program
  57. files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be
  58. distributed as a complete package, without exception.  The PACKING.LST text
  59. file contains a list of all files that are part of the Code.Print for Visual
  60. Basic package.

  62.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  63.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  64.  
  65. No price or other compensation may be charged for the Code.Print for Visual
  66. Basic package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the
  67. diskette, shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not
  68. exceed US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  70. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  72. The Code.Print for Visual Basic package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  73. inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software
  74. packaging offer, without a written agreement from Caladonia Systems.

  76.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Code.Print for Visual
  77.    Basic package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a
  78.    CD-ROM package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are
  79.    met.

  81.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the Code.Print
  82.    for Visual Basic package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk
  83.    set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from Caladonia Systems
  84.    prior to beginning such a distribution.

  86.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  87.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version is
  88.    over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  89.    have the most current version.  This version was released in Sept, 1995.

  91. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  93. If you would like to distribute the Code.Print for Visual Basic package as a
  94. Disk-of-the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then
  95. the following restrictions apply:

  97.    ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby given
  98.    permission to distribute the Code.Print for Visual Basic package under
  99.    the Disk-of-the-Month style of distribution.
  100.  
  101.    Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure that you
  102.    have the most current version of the software.
  103.  
  104.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  105.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  106.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  107.  
  108. The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in part, using
  109. any means, without the written permission of Caladonia Systems.  In other
  110. words, the disk-based documentation may not be distributed in PRINTED
  111. (hardcopy) form.
  112.  
  113. The Code.Print for Visual Basic package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to
  114. others.
  115.  
  116. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  117. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  118. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  119.  
  120. Caladonia Systems prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  121. Code.Print for Visual Basic package, without written permission from
  122. Caladonia Systems. If the version you have is over twelve (12) months old,
  123. please contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.  This
  124. version was released in Sept, 1995.
  125.  
  126. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  127. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program
  128. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  129. result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  131. U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.
  132. Government of the computer software and documentation in this package shall
  133. be subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial computer
  134. software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical
  135. Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The
  136. Contractor/manufacturer is Caladonia Systems Inc., P.O. Box 1954 Tacoma,
  137. WA 98401-1954.
