  8. To install and run this demonstration program, create a temporary directory 
  9. on your hard drive and copy UNPACK.EXE to this directory. From your temporary
  10. directory type UNPACK at the command line to extract the demo program files.
  11. Approximately 2.4 megabytes of disk space will be required.
  12.  
  13. This demo package contains two demonstration programs, one that demonstrates
  14. the general database capabilities of CodeBasic 5.1 (CB5_DEMO.EXE), and one
  15. that highlights the features of CodeControls 2.0 (CC2_DEMO.EXE). CodeControls
  16. 2.0 is a custom control package that ships with CodeBasic 5.1.
  17.  
  18. The Visual Basic projects and source code for the two demonstration programs 
  19. are included.  These are CB5_DEMO.MAK and CC2_DEMO.MAK respectively.

  21. To run either demonstration program, use the File | Run menu command from
  22. Program Manager and type in the path to your temporary directory, plus
  23. the name of either demonstration program
  24.  
  25.     eg. C:\MYTEMP\CB5_DEMO.EXE or
  26.         C:\MYTEMP\CC2_DEMO.EXE

  28. This demonstration diskette was designed using Visual Basic 3.0, but 
  29. CodeBasic 5.1 also supports Visual Basic for DOS, Visual Basic Applications
  30. Edition for Excel 5.0, Microsoft Basic PDS 7.1 and CA-Realizer. 
  31. CodeControls 2.0 only works with Visual Basic for Windows.
