File MSVGRI.DOC 2 March 1991
This is to announce MS-DOS Kermit 3.10 for the GRiD Compass family
of laptop computers. The system specific features are similar
to those present in version 2.32, which was a significant
enhancement over 2.31. Key features of Kermit 3.10 for the GRiD
Compass are:
(a) Tektronix 4010 emulation is supported.
(b) Maximum speed in connect mode is about 4800 baud.
(c) The same program should work on the entire GRiD Compass
family. (It has been tested on the 1101, the 1129, and the
1131.) Note that you will need to "SET TERM BIG" on the
113x in order for the graphics to work correctly.
(d) The arrow keys return ESC-A to ESC-D, which can be reset
with the "set key" command if desired.
Files are:
(a) msvgri.boo ---the executable in boo format
(b) msvgri.hlp ---documentation on Kermit 3.10 for the GRiD Compass
(c) msvgri.doc ---this announcement file
