Subject: Obtaining Apple DOS Kermit.
To: info-kermit@cunixc
Hi!
I'm Peter Trei, one of the maintainers of Apple DOS Kermit.
For some time, I have been supplying copies to the Columbia
community at a nominal fee, since booting it up from a mainframe is a
non-trivial task.
If you can meet me in the CU area, I will trade the disk
in return for a new, blank one. If not, for $10 I will mail out a
copy on Apple II 5.25" diskette.
My address is:
Peter Trei,
PO Box 157
Westminster, MA 01473
[Ed. - Thanks for volunteering to perform this service, Peter! The
Apple II Kermit bootstrapping technique is one of the most difficult,
and you'll be saving many people lots of time and trouble. Readers of
Info-Kermit should bother Peter only on a per-site basis, and then
distribute copies themselves within their own site.]
