Subject: Compiling Problem
Here are the files from the Acorn distribution disk.
They were originally organised into four directories, C, H, S, and W.
Anyone using C on the Archimedes will understand the reason for this !
To compile, exec the Makescr file. However, there is a problem. To
assemble rs423.s and produce the panos library, you need the Acorn
assembler, which is a pity since they havn't released it yet !

Subject: Kermit for the Archimedes
Archimedes Kermit as released by Acorn does work...
the reason I had so much trouble was that you cannot set the stop bits from
inside kermit, and the OS defaults to 2 stop bits... which took me far longer
than it should have to work out.
