  1. Applying the DOOM 2 patch:

  3. 1. Unzip the file "PATCH.ZIP" into the DOOM2 directory.
  4.  
  5. 2. Change to the DOOM2 directory (if you are not already there).
  6.  
  7. 3. Type "PATCH"
  8.  
  9. If the patch fails:
  10.  
  11. 1. Re-install DOOM 2 from the original disks and try again.
