  3. Fast Weapons and Ultra Fast Super Shotgun
  4.  
  5. This is a patch for Dehacked v2.0 and for Doom v1.666 ONLY !
  6.  
  7. This patch will make all the weapons as fast as they could possibilly be and 
  8. make the chaingun into a Ultra Fast Super Shotgun.  This patch will also give
  9. you infinite ammo for all the weapons.  Check out the Chaingun and you will 
  10. be amazed, I promise !

  12. Weapons
  13.  
  14. Punch:                  I made the punch really fast.  All you have to do 
  15.                         is hold out your hand and if anything touches it
  16.                         dies.  Get some berserk and watch those guts fly.
  17.                         If you have berserk you can kill the baron in less
  18.                         than a second if you get him cornered.
  19.                         
  20. Pistol:                 I made the pistol faster than the original chaingun.
  21.                         That's the only weapon that you need to beat the 
  22.                         entire game on Nightmare.
  23.  
  24. Shotgun:                I made the shotgun so fast that it kills the Cyber
  25.                         in no time flat.  This is for all the crazies out
  26.                         there that need the power.
  27.  
  28. Chaingun:               This is the jewel of the arsenal.  As you know I made
  29.                         the pistol faster than the chaingun so there was no
  30.                         point is making the chaingun the same speed.  So
  31.                         I merged the properties of the Chaingun and the
  32.                         properties of the Super Shotgun and I got something 
  33.                         wonderful, a Ultra Fast Super Shotgun.  This is the
  34.                         best and most powerful weapon in the game that you can
  35.                         make.  This is the Ultimate Weapon of Doom.
  36.                         Warning: This weapons is so powerful that it can take
  37.                         the fun out of the game!  Beware of the awsome power!

  39. Rocket Launcher:        The only thing that I did to the rocket launcher is
  40.                         I made it very, very fast.  You can lay down anything
  41.                         with this baby.  Use only away from walls because one
  42.                         slip up and you are going to be floting belly up in 
  43.                         a puddle of boiling blood !
  44.  
  45. Plasma Rifle:           I made the plasma rifle so fast that if you look
  46.                         at the shots from the side you will see a continuous
  47.                         line of plasma bullets.  Take this into a level full
  48.                         of troopers and watch them fry.
  49.  
  50. BFG9000:                I made the BFG9000 into a super fast BFG9000.  Try this
  51.                         baby out on an army of Cyberdeamons, they don't even 
  52.                         stand a chance.
  53.  
  54. Chainsaw:               I made the chainsaw really fast.  You can kill almost
  55.                         any regular enemy in less than one second.  Take this
  56.                         baby and try it out on the barons, they won't know that
  57.                         got into them.

  60. I only make quality patches that look good and act great.  I also kept all 
  61. the firing graphics for all the weapons, not like some of the other patches 
  62. that I saw.

  74. You MAY do anything with this patch file that you like.  The only thing
  75. that I ask you is that you give me credit for my work if you decide to
  76. change this file or use parts of it in your own file.

  79. Instructions:
  80.  
  81. 1. Get the Dehacked v2.0 program.
  82. 2. Unzip the Dehacked v2.0 program into the Doom directory.
  83. 3. Edit the DEHACKED.INI file so that it matches your system.
  84. 4. Unzip the FSTWPN11.ZIP file into the Doom directory.
  85. 5. Backup your DOOM.EXE with the command
  86.    COPY DOOM.EXE DOOM.EX_
  87. 6. Load the FASTWPNS.DEH file into the Dehacked v2.0 program using the command
  88.    DEHACKED -LOAD FASTWPNS.DEH
  89. 7. Run Doom and enjoy.
