  1.              Chess Tiles - by Heather Story, Electric Knights BBS

  3.     This second set of tiles came about as a result of a remark made by a
  4.     dear friend who is a chess fanatic!  He was bemoaning the fact that he
  5.     had never seen a set of mahjongg tiles that depicted chess pieces, and
  6.     wouldn't it be fun to be able to incorporate the two games.  At first
  7.     I insisted that it couldn't be done but I couldn't resist his
  8.     challenge and the tiles began to take shape in my imagination.  Before
  9.     long they were completed and I was able to surprise my friend with a
  10.     gift of a set of tiles showing chess pieces.

  12.     He was pleased to receive them and I was pleased that he thought they
  13.     are good enough to publish, so here they are with our compliments.
