  6. Jennifer's Sexy Video Poker is simply the best video poker game

  10. like full statistics for every payout and every hand, Reversible
  11. Royals, Progressive Jackpot with programmable percentage,

  18. *** VBRUN300.DLL REQUIRED ***

  20. This program requires VBRUN300.DLL (Visual Basic 3 Runtime
  21. Library).  This file should be located in your WINDOWS/SYSTEM
  22. directory.  This file is not included in the compressed
  23. shareware file distributed on on-line services, because it
  24. increases the size of the file, and most users already have
  25. it on their system anyway.  If you don't have it (which
  26. will be obvious because the game won't run!), you can
  27. download it from any on-line service.  If you REALLY
  28. can't find it, write to the support/orders address later
  29. in this file, and I will send you a copy.

  31. *** HOW TO INSTALL ***
  32.  
  33. Make a new directory on your hard drive, and copy JPOKER.EXE
  34. into it.  Run JPOKER (from DOS or Windows) to extract the
  35. files.  Leave all the files in the same directory.  Run
  36. POKER.EXE from Windows to use the program!

  38. *** CHANGES FROM VERSION TO VERSION ***

  42. 2.30 adds a 24th game:  Deuces Wild Bonus Poker.

  49. There is a new command on the Setup submenu of the File
  50. menu.  "Automatically Hold Wildcards" does just what it
  51. says.  Click the option to turn it on and off.  The
  52. default is "on" but "off" is the way it works on the
  53. casino games.

  55. The "Statistics" dialog has been changed to display the
  56. stats for 20 of the different poker games worth at
  57. a time, and scrolls to show the remaining games.  There
  58. were just too darn many games to fit them all on the
  59. screen at once!

  61. Jennifer's Juicy Jackpots has been modified so that the
  62. order and amount of the payouts better reflect the 
  63. statistal odds of the various winning hands showing up.

  67. 2.11 adds a new "coin bucket" display.  Look up help for
  68. "coin bucket" for more information.  2.11 is also a
  69. maintenance upgrade to 2.10.

  74. Payout Poker), and multiple player statistics and winnings

  79. 2.00b is a maintenance upgrade from 2.00a.

  81. Version 2.00 adds a major new feature:  Jennifer's Juicy
  82. Jackpots!  Make a side bet of one coin on any non-wildcard
  83. draw poker game, and win extra payouts on the deal!  Look
  84. up help for "Jennifer's Juicy Jackpots" for further details.

  86. Version 2.00 adds a new card display: Simple Cards.  These
  87. cards feature a larger image which makes them easier to read
  88. on higher resolution monitors.  Choose Simple Cards or Fancy
  89. Cards from the new "Setup" submenu on the "File" menu.
  90. The "Turn Sound On/Off" command has also been moved from the
  91. "Options" menu to the "Setup" submenu in 2.00 and later.

  93. First-time users will see a new start-up screen allowing
  94. choices of which "Goodies" to use.  Click in the "Welcome"
  95. dialog at program start-up to display the start-up screen
  96. during future sessions.

  99. Version 1.20 provides an exciting NEW game unique to
  100. Jennifer's Sexy Video Poker:  Crazy Eights Double Payout poker!
  101. With this new Video Poker game, you can win TWICE on each
  102. hand:  once on the deal, and again on the draw!  This is one
  103. exciting game!  For further details, look for the new HELP
  104. menu command, "How to Play Crazy Eights Double Payout Poker."

  106. With this new game, registered users of Jennifer's Sexy Video
  107. Poker get to play TWENTY-ONE different poker games!  That's more
  108. than any other video poker program we've seen... and we give you
  109. REAL games that you find in the casinos, and every one is different.
  110. We're not like those "other" video poker programs out there,
  111. programs that tell you they give you 8 video poker variations, but
  112. then you find out that the 8 "games" are exactly the same except
  113. that one says "25 cents" on the coin slot, one says "$1", one says
  114. "$5", etc... what a ripoff!  (really... there is a shareware video
  115. poker game out there that does this!)  With Jennifer's Sexy Video
  116. Poker, when we say twenty-one games, we MEAN twenty-one games!!!!!

  118. Version 1.20 fixes a bug in older revisions whereby Same Four
  119. Wins More and Four Plus Four did not correctly pay out on a
  120. Royal Flush.

  122. *** 1.10 ***
  123. Version 1.10 and later provides a major new feature:
  124. customizable payout charts!  That's right... you can now
  125. EXACTLY duplicate that game you saw down at the casino
  126. with Jennifer's Sexy Video Poker, even if the payout charts
  127. don't match!  Three new commands are available on the
  128. "Options" menu: one to customize the payout chart for the
  129. game you are currently playing, one to reset the payout chart
  130. for the current game to its default value, and one to reset
  131. all the payout charts to their default values.  This new
  132. feature is available ONLY to registered users, so if you
  133. haven't already, please register today!

  135. The statistics commands, which were on the "Options" menu
  136. in earlier versions, have been moved to their own "Statistics"
  137. menu in version 1.10 and later.

  139. *** 1.04 / 1.03 ***
  140. Version 1.04 provides some graphical enhancements and a few
  141. maintenance changes.  If you're dying to know: the
  142. "Game Over" sign now alternates between "Game Over" and
  143. "Play 5 Coins", the "Double Up" dialog is prettier, and
  144. there are now some 3D fonts.
  145.  
  146. Version 1.03 fixes a minor bug in 1.00, and adds a new
  147. feature: Deuces/Jokers Wild now pays the progressive jackpot
  148. for both 4 Deuces & Joker, and a Natural Royal Flush.
  149. And, all wild deuces games now show "WILD!" on the deuces,
  150. as in the casino video poker games.
  151. Also, you can now type "Y" or "N" on the keyboard without
  152. using "alternate" to choose if you want to double up, and
  153. type "2" through "5" to choose your double up card.

  156. *** HELP and SOUND FILES ***
  157.  
  158. The help file, POKER.HLP, and the sound files, *.WAV, must
  159. remain in the program directory to be accessed by the program.

  161. If you don't want sound, and you want to save space on your
  162. hard drive, you can delete the .WAV files and the program
  163. will still work fine.  (Of course, you won't hear Jennifer's
  164. voice!)

  166. *** VIDEO DRIVER PROBLEMS ***
  167.  
  168. There have been a few reports of problems with the cards
  169. displaying.  This usually manifests itself with the cards
  170. either not lining up correctly with the "Hold" buttons or
  171. only half of the cards displaying.  This problem is caused
  172. by poorly written third-party video drivers which are
  173. not compatible with QCARD.DLL (the software used to display
  174. the cards.)  If you experience this problem, it may be
  175. corrected by switching to a Microsoft-supplied video driver.
