  47. - added major new Report Designer. A sample report has been

  51. - the new Tagged field works in conjunction with the Filter. It allows
  52. you to tag individual records and then set a filter for all tagged
  53. records. Use File > Clear Tags to clear all tags.
  54. - records can also be Tagged on the Browse screen.
  55. - to realign columns on the Browse screen, select the column title by
  56. pressing and holding the left mouse button, and then drag the column to
  57. a new position. The new realignment is saved as the default alignment.
  58. - in order to avoid year 2000 problems, dates cannot be manually typed.
  59. They are either automatically inserted when adding new records if you
  60. have specified this in File > Preferences, or entered by clicking the
  61. Date icon beside the date field when editing existing records.
  62. - the main data entry screen is now divided into two tabs, with all the
  63. information except the memo field on one tab, and the memo on a second
  64. tab.
  65. - you can save and restore Filters. With a Filter active, select File >
  66. Save Filter. To restore a saved Filter, select File > Restore Filter.
  67. - you can copy the current record to the Windows Clipboard with File >
  68. Copy Current Record. This is useful if you want to Paste the current
  69. record data into another document.
  70. - the Label Design Screen is radically new. You can add lines, boxes,
  71. ovals, clip art, counters, etc., in any font and color, with 3D effects,
  72. and more.
  73. - the Letter utility has been strengthened with a number of additional
  74. word-processing features.
  75. - the Envelope Design Screen has also been radically improved with
  76. features similar to the Label Design Screen.
  77. - Duplicate Checking - duplicate matches can now be TAGGED (which
  78. means you can then set a filter for tagged records and print a report of
  79. possible duplicates)
  80. - Check and Repair State and Zip Codes -  matches can now be TAGGED.
  81. - Convert Case - now does Upper/Lower/Capitalize first letter - not
  82. just upper.
  83. - Use File > Print > Print Current Record to print the current
  84. record's data.
  85. - You can now select specific labels to print or skip on a sheet of
  86. labels.
