  37.  ΓûáThe first row of buttons shows your currently connected disks to your system. 
  38.  Pressing one of them starts the cataloging procedure for that drive. 
  39.  
  40.  ΓûáThe second row of buttons have several funtions which are also described in 
  41.  the menu options section of this document. 
  42.  
  43.  ΓûáThe first container in the main window holds all cataloged volumes. If you 
  44.  select a volume from this container the file container (below the volume 
  45.  container) will be cleared. A double click on a volume container entry will 
  46.  fill the file container with the appropriate files for this volume. The type 
  47.  column identifies the volume like follows: 
  48.  
  49.       FD    - floppy disk 
  50.  
  51.       CD-ROM  - compact disk or cdrom 
  52.  
  53.       CD-AUDIO - compact disk or cdrom 
  54.  
  55.       HD    - hard disk 
  56.  
  57.       MO    - optical disk 
  58.  
  59.       LD    - lan disk 
  60.  
  61.  The volume column holds the volume names and if it is an audio cd the 
  62.  interpreter and cd title. The id column shows the serial number of the 
  63.  appropiate volume. The free and used columns shows how much kilobytes are 
  64.  available and used by this volume. The column total lists the total capacity 
  65.  in kilobytes of that volume. The column time lists the total amount of time if 
  66.  the volume is an audio cd. The last column file count lists the number of 
  67.  files for that volume or titles on an audio cd.

  69.  ΓûáThe second container in the main window identifies the filename and the path 
  70.  where it is located. The size, date and time are the appropriate attributes of 
  71.  the file.

  73.  ΓûáIn the last field at the bottom of the main window you can type any comment 
  74.  for the currently selected disk. It will be saved automatically when another 
  75.  volume is selected.

  272.  volume. So you can easily read in index files from large volumes such as 
  273.  cd-rom's.
