  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  10. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  11. agreement signed by Lowe Computer Solutions, your use of this
  12. software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  13. and warranty.

  15. Registered Version

  17. Lowe Computer Solutions firmly believes in the idea that this 
  18. software is like a book.  You can read the book or let someone else
  19. borrow the book.  However, there is only one copy of the book and 
  20. only one person can be reading the book at any one time.  This
  21. software should be treated in the same manner.  You are not 
  22. violating the terms of this agreement so long as at any point in 
  23. time, only one person can be using the software.  An example of 
  24. non-violation would be having one copy on your PC at home and one
  25. copy on your PC at work.  You can't be in both places at once to 
  26. use the software.  However, putting this software on the network 
  27. and hoping that no one else uses it when you do, is a violation.

  29. Consider it this way, if it's possible for the software to be in
  30. use at the same time on multiple workstations, you need a license for 
  31. each workstation.

  33. You may access the registered version of Silly Little Checklist
  34. through a network, provided that you have obtained individual 
  35. licenses for the software covering all workstations that will 
  36. access the software through the network.  For instance, if 6 
  37. different workstations will access Silly Little Checklist on 
  38. the network, each workstation must have its own Silly Little 
  39. Checklist license, regardless of whether they use Silly Little
  40. Checklist at different times or concurrently.

  42. Governing Law

  44. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  45. Georgia.

  47. Disclaimer of Warranty

  49. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  50. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  51. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the
  52. various hardware and software environments into which Silly Little
  53. Checklist may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR 
  54. PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  56. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  57. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  58. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  59. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  60. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  64. Evaluation and Registration

  66. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  67. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30
  68. days.  If you use this software after the 30 day evaluation period,
  69. a registration fee of $5.00 (US) is required.  Payments must be in US
  70. dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be sent to Lowe Computer
  71. Solutions, 2098 Indian Trail Rd, Norcross, GA 30071-3618.  Quantity
  72. discounts are available, as described in the Register.txt form.
  73. When payment is received, you will be sent appropriate 
  74. instructions/files for the registered version of Silly Little 
  75. Checklist.

  77. Unregistered use of Silly Little Checklist after the 30-day 
  78. evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international 
  79. copyright laws.

  81. Distribution

  83. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  84. Version (select About from the Help menu to check) you are
  85. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  86. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  87. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  88. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  89. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  90. of the above.  All of the files must be distributed.  This applies
  91. regardless of the method of distribution.

  93. As this is Shareware, you may distribute the complete, unmodified, 
  94. version of the software (including all of the files) in any manner
  95. that you see fit under the following conditions:

  100. (including, but not limited to, the Internet, bulletin board systems, 
  101. compilation CDs, and word-of-mouth), however, it is illegal to 
  102. represent this work as anyone's other than Lowe Computer Solutions.
  103. 3.  No additional price should be charged for this product other than
  104. what are normal and customary costs for providing this software to
  105. the user.  Examples are the costs of burning a CD, the cost for the
  106. space necessary to house the software, and the cost of the dialup
  107. connection.
  108. 4.  Any sales of the product itself should be appropriately remitted
  109. to Lowe Computer Solutions at the address above.
