  30. Welcome to Randwall V1.5 Major Additions
  31.  
  32. Thank you for using Randwall.
  33. The introduction contains only a brief description of the program and 
  34. its features. Quite detailed documentation is included in the program.

  37. Randwall uses mathematical equations to create its own unique wallpapers at
  38. random, saving space in your hard-drive. It creates new desktop backgrounds
  39. every time you launch Windows and at user-configurable intervals.
  40. The program uses mathematical equations to create its own unique
  41. graphics at random from several different internal image families.
  42. Use its setup program to determine the dimensions of each tile it generates,
  43. as well as the number of colors it uses.
  44. RandWall also has a Timer feature so you can change the background
  45. automatically in hours, minutes or seconds. You are able to set as wallpaper,
  46. save the bitmap and copy the RandWall's bitmaps to clipboard. There are
  47. several ways you can change the behavior of RandWall.
  48. The wallpaper sample area lets you preview the bitmaps that will be used as
  49. your desktop wallpaper. You may select whether you want to automatically
  50. change the current wallpaper every time the program is started (usually at
  51. computer start-up time) or set the amount of time between wallpaper changes.
  52. With RandWall you can stretch the wallpaper on your desktop so that
  53. it fills the entire screen. If you don't have Microsoft Plus installed on
  54. your computer, you should check this option to let RandWall stretch the
  55. bitmaps to desktop size.

  59. RandWall is a wallpaper randomizer for Windows which has the following

  61. * Runs in the system tray, so it doesn't clutter the Taskbar.
  62. * It has an easy preview option the "Wallpaper sample area."
  63. * Changes your wallpaper at user-configurable intervals.

  65. * Easy accessibility: You can change your current wallpaper by clicking on a
  66.   tray icon. Configuring the program is just two clicks away.
  67. * Stretching of bitmaps: Microsoft Plus includes the option to stretch
  68.   bitmaps that do not fit on the desktop. If you don't have Microsoft Plus
  69.   installed on your system you can have this same effect with RandWall.
  70. * There are new alignment options; centered, tiled.

  115. Installing the Randwall program
  116.  
  117. Unzip the RWALL15.ZIP to a temporary directory.
  118. Run the setup.exe program in that directory.
  119. Follow the instructions given in the installation program.

  145. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying.
  146. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are expected to
  147. register. Individual programs differ on details, some request registration

  168. supplied as is. The author disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied,
  169. including, without limitation, the warranties of merchant ability and of
  170. fitness for any purpose. The author assumes no liability for damages, direct
  171. or consequential, which may result from the use of Randwall. Randwall is a
  172. "Shareware program" and is provided at no charge to the user for evaluation.
  173. Fell free to share it with your friends, but please do not give it away
  174. altered or as part of another system. The essence of "user-supported"
  175. software is to provide personal computer users with quality software without
  176. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to continue to
  177. develop new products. If you find this program useful and find that you are
  178. using Randwall and continue to use Randwall after a reasonable trial period,
  179. 15 days, you must make a registration payment. The registration fee will
  180. license one copy for use on any one computer at any one time. You must treat

  199. you send us a copy of the CD-ROM as soon as it has been manufactured.

  201. retail environment, we request that you send us a copy of your packaging as
